India is a country rich in historical monuments. Many historical structures may be found across India, including the Red Fort, the Qutub Minar, and the Taj Mahal. The Mughals constructed the majority of them. One of them is Taj. Emperor Shahjahan erected it in honour of his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. It is visited by people from all over the globe.
The Taj Mahal is located on the south bank of the Jamuna River in Agra. The structure took twenty thousand workers twenty-two years to finish.
The Taj Mahal is composed entirely of white marble. At either end are four minars, with a large dome in the middle. The main structure is rectangular and sits on top of a basement. It contains the relics of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. In front of it, there is a park.
In the red hues of the setting sun, the Taj looks stunning. Every day, it draws a great number of tourists from both within and beyond the country. The Taj appears particularly majestic and spectacular in full moonlight. Its beauty is beyond description. The guests gaze at the structure with awe and reverence.
This was my first time visiting this historical site. I came home reluctantly, carrying a joyful recollection of my visit to this lovely tomb with great craftsmanship in my thoughts.
