He was born in a poor household at Rameswaram on October 15, 1931. His father was a fisherman, and he grew up in a fishing family. He had a fascination with flying since he was a toddler, and he used to wonder aloud to his instructor how this bird flew through the air. Dr. Abdul Pakir Zainul Abedin Abdul Kalam, often known as Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, was born on October 15, 1931, in Dhanushkodi village in Tamil Nadu’s Rameshwar district. His family was impoverished, and there were occasions when he didn’t have enough money to purchase dinner twice.
He had always been bright and enjoyed reading since he was a youngster. However, owing to his family’s financial situation, Dr. Abdul Kalam used to sell newspapers to raise money for school tuition.
